The Beacon line array system has been designed for indoor and outdoor events, military training, graduations, fitness centres, parks and recreation. An internal battery powered portable PA system, the Beacon can also be ran from AC mains power. Transportation is made easier by way of integral castors and pull-handle.
This portable line array system with Bluetooth is capable of producing 150watts using AC power or 125watts when battery powered. When closed the array speaker sits inside, making it more compact and portable. When set up, the array pods, each with four 4-inch neodymium speakers, sit on top of the bass unit, which has three 8-inch neodymium subwoofers, to stand at over 1.8m tall with a total sound pressure level of 120dB at 1m. There are no cables connecting the base unit to the array speakers as the two, cleverly designed, clips that attach the array speakers, also convey the audio signal required.
The Beacon can operate for 6-8 hours on a single charge from internal rechargeable batteries. It has an automatic overcharge prevention circuit, an automatic shutdown circuit to prevent excessive battery discharge and a 4-LED charging indicator.
A protective, recessed rear panel has two XLR/jack combination microphone inputs with switchable 12V phantom power. A single unbalanced 6.35mm jack socket allows for line level input, while dual, unbalanced, RCA (phono) inputs or a single unbalanced 3.5mm jack socket can be used as alternative inputs. There are rotary volume controls for microphone channels 1 and 2, line input and Bluetooth input (for connection to compatible Bluetooth audio players), as well as rotary controls for master LF and HF. A post fade, line level output on 6.35mm jack can be used to link multiple Beacon array systems.

BEA-8000U1 Beacon
This product has the feature set of the BEA-8000 with, in addition, a single built-in channel 70 (863-865MHz) wireless receiver compatible with the optional WH-8000 handheld radiomic transmitter and WB-8000 bodypack radiomic transmitter.
BEA-8000U2 Beacon
This product has the feature set of the BEA-8000U1 however it has two built-in channel 70 (863-865MHz) wireless receivers.
BEA-8000C Beacon
The BEA-8000C has the same properties as the BEA-8000 with, in addition, an internally-fitted, slot-loading CD player, a USB input for playing back MP3 files from USB media and an SD card slot for the playback of MP3 audio files. Various transport buttons allow for skip, forward, play, pause, stop, repeat and eject whilst a backlit screen shows the status of any media in use. A 3.5mm jack socket can be used for auxiliary audio input.
BEA-8000CU1 Beacon
