Blackmagic Micro Converters use standard broadcast video and audio connections, reducing the need for adapter cables. All models, unless otherwise stated, can be updated with a Windows or Mac computer by downloading software upgrades and connecting using the MicroUSB port. The Micro Converters can automatically detect the input video format and instantly change between SD and HD video standards, depending on model.
Connectors are BNC types for SDI, HDMI are type A. Power source: 4.4-5.25V DC, less than 2.5W.
Designed to take a HDMI output from a laptop or video camera, and convert into SDI for use with switchers of broadcast quality. SD and HD formats up to 1080p60 are automatically switched, and the two SDI outputs support Level A and Level B equipment. Includes AC power supply with international socket adaptors.

Similar in design to CONVCMIC/HS however inverted so it takes an SDI input signal and outputs to HDMI. Includes AC power supply with international socket adaptors.

This converter is bidirectional and therefore simultaneously converts SDI to HDMI and HDMI to SDI in both SD and HD formats up to 1080p60. The SG-SDI inputs are multi-rate and are said to be ‘compatible with virtually all professional broadcast equipment’, including both Level A and Level B devices.
