GHIELMETTI DIGITAL/ANALOGUE PATCH PANEL – Dante enabled

GDP 1132 is a digital patch bay solution for routing analogue audio signals in and out of a Dante Network. Presenting 16 analogue inputs and 16 analogue outputs using Ghielmetti’s known G3P patch connector technology. Dante Signals are translated via a mixer suitable for up to 32 Dante inputs and 32 Dante outputs.

The front panel presents two rows of 16 mono, analogue Ghielmetti patch points. The top of these rows patching from Dante streams OUT to analogue sends with the bottom row, converting analogue IN to Dante stream. Signals can be monitored using the 6.35mm headphone output and independent volume control by selecting the desired bar graphic readout on the 2.2 inch TFT LCD display. As well as an adjustable dBu scales, the display also allows routing and configuration functionality via the adjacent rotary encoder. With the staple Ghielmetti USB port offering access to extended functionality, software updates and patching profiles.

The rear of the device provides connectivity to a single AES/EBU digital audio output via single 3-pin male XLR, primary and secondary 1GB Dante RJ45 network ports, and a control over LAN connection via RJ45 connector. AC mains input is via IEC along with a 2.5 x 5.5 mm 12V / 5a DC Jack for power redundancy.

GDP 1132 provides a bridge between analogue and Dante signals allowing the user to effortlessly patch analogue audio from established legacy sources. Utilising Audinate's Brooklyn II chip set, audio signals between Dante and analogue modules are routed through a mixer, enabling the system to mix several Dante channels onto one analogue output or several analogue channels onto one Dante stream.

Dante routing is configurable from the front elements of the device as well as remotely through Ethernet connection and a WEB GUI monitor.
