RYCOTE 055304 MINI WINDJAMMER Medium

These three kits from Rycote offer the user an all-in-one pack to accessorise a camera-mounted shotgun microphone - each kit catering for a different range of microphones. Each kit included hot shoe extension, InVision Video hot shoe, boom swivel with lever, hot shoe adaptor, camera mic clamp, Classic Softie, and 1/4 inch adapter with washer, all the items needed to benefit from excellent wind protection of up to 25dB.

116010 – 12cm

This kit includes suspension and windshield compatible with microphones of 19-22mm in diameter with slots no further than 12cm from the front of the microphone, such as the Sony ECM-673 or ECM-674.

116011 – 15cm

This kit includes suspension and windshield compatible with microphones of 19-22mm in diameter with slots no further than 15cm from the front of the microphone, such as the Audio Technica BP4029, Rode NTG-1 or NTG-2.

116012 – 18cm

This kit includes suspension and windshield compatible with microphones of 19-22mm in diameter with slots no further than 18cm from the front of the microphone, such as the Rode NTG-3, Sennheiser ME 66, MKH 416-P48U, MKH 416-TU, or Sony ECM-678.

Suitable for most solid-state hand-held portable recorders fitted with a female 1/4 inch tripod thread, this suspension offers 'excellent isolation from vibrations, shocks and handling noise'. The suspension uses the patented Rycote 'Lyre' construction to give isolation with robustness. Unlike rubber or elastic suspensions the Lyre is unaffected by temperature extremes, and so can be used in the harshest of environments.

Supplied with a 1/4 inch to 3/8 inch swivel adaptor, the suspension can be mounted on a 3/8 inch male thread, microphone stand or boom pole, or be attached to a camera hot shoe using a supplied adaptor, which itself has a 1/4 inch female thread in its base. The 180 degree swivel allows for easy orientation of the recorder so it can point in the exact direction of the sound source.

This has the same functionality as 041119, however it is designed for compatibility with recorders weighing over 300g.

The Hot Shoe Extension extends the accessory shoe of a camera so that multiple attachments can be fitted such as lights and additional microphones. Alternatively it can be used simply to place accessories in a different position to the camera shoe. Since the extension can rotate around the shoe fixture on the camera, the microphone can be easily moved out of shot and also adjusted to achieve the optimum balance.

It consists of an extruded aluminium bar, into which the bases of hot shoe fittings can be located. An extruded slot in the base takes an adjustable fitting with a male 'foot' to fit a camera accessory shoe. As a result, it is really a 'cold shoe' since any electrical contacts in the camera will not connect to the accessories.

The extension is offered in 100mm, 200mm and 400mm lengths all with a single 'foot' to fit the camera. In addition, a second 200mm option is offered which has, in addition, two adapters which slide in the upper slot of the extrusion and have 3/8 inch studs with locking rings to attach those accessories which have a female thread to take standard microphone stands.

Hot Shoe Adapters are designed for use with a Hot Shoe Extension and offer 3/8 inch thread (037302), or 1/4 inch thread (037327).

This simple bracket is used for mounting up to two wireless receivers onto camcorders or DSLR cameras. The bracket can be mounted on either the camera 1/4 inch mounting point, if available, or the accessory shoe. The bracket holds the receiver(s) on four soft-grip pads, held down by the use of two "hook and loop" straps.

Suitable for most wireless receivers; the maximum strap length is 220mm (allowing for "hook and loop" grip).
