A 12cm cuboid loudspeaker housing 1x 4-inch midrange driver and 3x 1-inch tweeters. The loudspeaker has an RMS power output of 40watts (80watts peak), and a maximum sound pressure level of 104dB (88dB 1W/1m). A horizontal dispersion of 110 degrees and a vertical dispersion of 10 degrees enables best positioning when forming an array system - whether ceiling mounted, wall mounted, or pole mounted. The loudspeaker is 16ohm and connection is via a SmartLink system which allows cable free connection. Up to six Curv 500 S2 satellites can be used with a single Curv 500 SLA or single Curv 500 SLA T SmartLink adapter.

Curv 500 D SAT is essentially a double (2x) Curv 500 S2 in a single enclosure. This loudspeaker enclosure houses 2x 4-inch midrange driver and 6x 1-inch tweeters. The loudspeaker has an RMS power output of 80watts (160watts peak), and a maximum sound pressure level of 110dB (91dB 1W/1m). A horizontal dispersion of 110 degrees and a vertical dispersion of 7 degrees enables best positioning when forming an array system - whether ceiling mounted, wall mounted, or pole mounted. The loudspeaker is 8ohm and connection is via a SmartLink system which allows cable free connection. Up to three Curv 500 D SAT satellite loudspeakers can be used with a single Curv 500 SLA or single Curv 500 SLA T SmartLink adapter.

A 10-inch, 200watt subwoofer designed to accompany Curv 500 S2 or Curv 500 D SAT satellite loudspeakers as part of a larger installation. The bass reflex design allows a frequency response of 47Hz to 150Hz. Manufactured from 15mm MDF and finished in textured paint, the subwoofer is finished with steel grille for 'elegance'. Audio input is by way of 'Speakon-compatible' or terminal connections. iSUB includes a low-profile wall/ceiling mounting bracket and a set of rubber feet. Eight M8 suspension points also mean the subwoofer can be flown or mounted to trussing with compatible mounting accessories.

A SmartLink adapter that operates as a base for up to six satellite loudspeakers, with wire-free connection via the slide and lock mechanism. The base of the adapter houses two 16mm flanges set at differing angles to allow 'an optimised dispersion angle', whilst 4x M6 thread allow wall mounting, and 4x M3 threads allow ceiling mounting. A 'Speakon-compatible' input allows connection to amplification and a terminal block allows for alternative input method. The LD Systems logo can be rotated when ceiling mounted. The adapter can also be truss mounted by using the optional Curv 500 TM B clamp.

This adapter has all the physical features and properties of the Curv 500 SLA, however it has been designed to be compatible with a 70V or 100V line system. Curv 500 SLA T has an integrated transformer with 80/40/20/10W taps at 4ohms, and a switch to select 70/100V operation. Input is by way of 2-pin screw-in connector.

This is a stereo set comprising of Curv 500 SLA SmartLink adapter, Curv 500 CABLE 4 8m speaker cable, Curv 500 SSB speaker stand base, and Curv 500 DB adjustable speaker pole. LD Systems have designed and manufactured this system for instances where 'the distance between the speaker base and the satellites of the array system needs to be increased'. The height adjustment is from 1489mm to 1839mm.
CURV 500 Series - Amplification
CURV 500 I 4-channel amplifier has been specifically designed by LD Systems to accompany the CURV 500 series array speakers, see LD SYSTEMS ARRAY LOUDSPEAKERS. The 1U rackmountable, class-D amplifier provides 4x 240W at 2.7/4ohms, which can drive up to six CURV 500 satellites or a single CURV 500 ISUB subwoofer per channel. An OLED display allows the user to quickly identify and access menus, including the inbuilt DSP menus to control delay and parametric EQ.
The rear facing panel houses all I/O connectivity including 4x balanced line inputs on 3-pin XLR, 4x 3-pin terminal block inputs to use as alternatives to the XLR inputs, 4x SpeakON outputs, and 4x 2-pin terminal block outputs to use as alternatives. Mains power is via IEC connector with associated rocking power switch. The front facing panel has the OLED display, dual-function (push and turn) dial, and large vent for the temperature controlled fan.

CURV 500 Series - Accessories
A wall mounting bracket for Curv 500 satellites that allows adjustment on all axes. Manufactured from die-cast aluminium this wall bracket has a maximum load capacity of 10kg and is available in either black or white powder coated finish. A 20cm steel safety wire rope is included. Wight: 0.353kg.
Allowing both tilt and swivel, Curv 500 WM BL allows the wall-mounting of up to six standard Curv 500 satellite speakers or three duplex satellites along with a SmartLink adapter. The distance from the wall can be adjusted and locked using two, 5mm Allen key compatible fixing screws positioned on the top of the mount. The steel manufactured wall mount has a maximum load capacity of 11kg, and is available in black or white powder coated finish. Dimensions (HxWxD): 120 x 80 x 440mm. Weight: 1.7kg.
CURV 500 CMB
This bracket has been designed to allow the ceiling mounting of a Curv 500 satellite or array. Once installed, the bracket has a maximum load capacity of 10kg and allows loudspeaker rotation of 360 degrees. Manufactured from steel and finished with powder coating. A 20cm steel safety rope is included with the bracket. Available in black or white finish. Weight: 0.55kg.
A truss mounting clamp set with a maximum load bearing capacity of 20kg, for Curv 500 satellite loudspeakers. Manufactured from aluminium and finished with a black powder coat, Curv 500 TM B also includes a M6x12mm eyebolt and washer. Weight: 0.7kg.
A replacement pluggable screw terminal block for Curv 500 SLA SmartLink adapter. The terminal block is compatible with loudspeaker cables with a conductor cross section measuring 1.5mm2 maximum.
