BEYERDYNAMIC HEADSETS

Canford stocks a selection from the Beyerdynamic range. Other models and impedance options are available to special order. DT 100 Series Headsets

DT 100 series headsets have been designed for broadcast, film, language lab and communications. They have position adjustable, noise cancelling microphone that provide excellent intelligibility. DT 109 double-sided and DT 108 single-sided headsets are available with headphone impedance of standard 400ohms or 50ohms. Microphone is unbalanced and 200 ohms as standard.

4-pin female XLR versions (XLR4F) are compatible with Clearcom, ASL and Tecpro beltpacks.
5-pin male XLR versions (XLR5M) are for true stereo/dual mono comms monitoring.

DT 200 Series Headsets

Building on the legendary success of the DT 100 series headsets and headphones, a series with an extremely low visual profile for improved 'in-shot' appearance, and great comfort for extended wearing. Acoustic isolation is excellent, and a choice of single/dual ear and dynamic/condenser microphone capsules is offered. DT280 and DT290 impedance is 80ohms and 250ohms per side, while DT297 impedance is 80ohms per side.

DT 297 PV MK II headset combining double-sided closed earphones with a gooseneck boom and a broadcast-quality (40 - 20000 Hz) condenser cardioid microphone. The balanced microphone element is suspended in a highly-flexible neoprene shock-mount to minimise mechanical coupling. The microphone response is optimised for use between 50 and 100mm from the mouth, which corresponds to the recommendations set by the IRT (Institute for Radio Technology) in Munich for optimum speech transmission. This headset is ideally suited for broadcast commentary and sportscast duties. With integrated power supply for phantom powering. In black.

The .28 versions are terminated with female 4-pin XLR for Clearcom, ASL & Tecpro beltpack use. The electret condenser version comes supplied as standard with an external pre-amplifier, version V.11 is available to special order for use with cameras having carbon microphone inputs.

DT 790 Series Headsets

Based upon the DT 770 series of headphones from Beyerdynamic, combining excellent acoustic isolation and natural response monitoring with great comfort for extended wearing. The headphones have a frequency response of 5Hz to 30kHz. with condenser microphone capsule. The microphone of the DT 797 is cardioid condenser. Colour: Blue. Weight: 425g.
