CANFORD SQM-R - MULTIPLE STARQUAD CABLE Ruggedised
Ruggedised flexible 'starquad' multicore cable based on a BBC specification. Suitable for microphone multicores in noisy environments, especially near thyristor controlled lighting. This has the same internal construction as standard SQM, but with a matt black polyurethane jacket - incredibly tough and resilient, and remains flexible in sub-zero arctic conditions.
There is a UK broadcast industry wiring convention for the termination of this cable onto the 26-pin bayonet lock MIL-type connector (the BBC convention), details of which are available on request.
