Adapt 100 series is a range of single-sided and double-sided headsets with variants having USB-A, USB-C, or 3.5mmm jack connection. Models with ‘ANC’ suffix have automatic noise cancellation technology, whilst models with ‘T’ suffix are certified for Microsoft Teams use and have a dedicated Teams pickup button on the mid-cable positioned controller. Inline call control functionality and optimisation for UC (Universal Communication) add better compatibility with software such as Skype when connecting via a PC.

The noise-cancelling microphone filters out ambient noise while the speakers offer EPOS ActiveGard technology to protect the listener from acoustic injury cause by sudden spikes in audio level.

EPOS ADAPT 200 series headsets have been designed to offer comfort and connectivity, with models allowing Bluetooth connection to two devices simultaneously. All 200 series headsets have dynamic, closed design, and include leatherette ear-pads which aid passive noise dampening. The headphones are limited by EPOS ActiveGard protection which is set at 118dB SPL.

Optimised for UC, and certified for Microsoft Teams, the headsets are either single sided (monaural) or dual-sided (binaural) and have quick access buttons for hook-up/Teams, power and mute, and a multifunction (volume, play/pause, and track skip) toggle. An LED signifies connection to the included USB-A or USB-C dongle (see model variety), or connected Bluetooth device such as smartphone. A USB-C connection is provided for hardwiring with the included USB-C to USB-A cable. This also enables charging via USB.

The built-in 3.7V DC lithium polymer battery provides standby power of up to 12.5days, listening time of up to 27hours, and talking time of up to 23hours. Charge time is 2hours.

IMPACT SC 635 USB

This single sided headset offers ‘exceptional wearing comfort’ along with a higher quality audio output than the ADAPT 100 series headsets.

This single-sided headset design offers 3.5mm/USB termination along with inline call control functionality, and is optimised for UC (Universal Communication) use and Skype via PC.

The leatherette ear pad and total weight of 59g gives the operator comfort for a prolonged period of time, whilst the overhead band and pivoting microphone boom allow for best fitting and audio pickup. An inline controller that dissects the 2900mm cable offers mute, call answering and volume up/down adjustment. The inline controller has a 3.5mm jack connection and detachable 3.5mm jack to USB cable. Proximity sensing technology allows the user to answer or hang up the call simply by picking up or laying down the headset.

The ‘Ultra noise-cancelling’ microphone filters out ambient noise while the neodymium magnet speakers offer EPOS ActiveGard technology to apply a 118dB maximum to protect the listener from acoustic injury cause by sudden spikes in audio level.
