WHARFEDALE EZGO PORTABLE PA SYSTEM
A portable, battery powered, PA system, intended for outdoor events, voice reinforcement and announcement applications.
Manufactured from durable, 8mm ABS, the cabinet houses two 5-inch full-range drivers, each with 1-inch voice coil. The system is capable of delivering 70W RMS, 140W peak output. Integrated castors and an extendable pull handle simplify transportation and set-up. A 36mm top hat receptacle enables pole mounting.
A balanced microphone input is provided via 3-pin female XLR and unbalanced RCA phono sockets allow for the connection of line level input devices such as CD players. Independent mic/line input level control and 3-band EQ enable user adjustment of the output. Master output level is controlled via rotary knob which doubles as the system power switch.
The EZGO system can be powered from an integral rechargeable battery, providing 6-8hrs operation, or external switched-mode power supply. When connected to mains via the supplied AC power cord, the system is supplied with external power and the battery charged simultaneously. Alternatively, a 12V/6A DC inlet can be used to provide external power only (Note: the battery will not be charged).
LED's display charging progress, battery status and the presence of an external power supply. A low battery LED illuminates and flashes to indicate when approximately 15 minutes battery power is remaining. A full charge is achieved in 6-8hrs.
It is possible to expand and upgrade the EZGO portable PA system through optional plug-and-play expansion modules. The EZ-USB module enables playback of MP3/WMA files from USB flash drives and computers. Connection to a PC is via USB type B socket. The EZ-RDM UHF radio microphone module is supplied complete with one EZ-MIC handheld dynamic wireless transmitter and incorporates two receivers. The redundant receiver can be utilised to add a second EZ-MIC handheld transmitter.
