CAT5 / TELECOM LINE ADAPTERS
A range of three line-adapters allowing telephone equipment to be connected to RJ45 structured wiring systems. All units comply with OFTEL approval NS/G/23/L/1090005 & BS6312. These have a male RJ45 connector and female UK telecom 431A socket.

Converts BT style plugs to structured wiring RJ45 plugs whilst also adjusting the signal impedance to conform to OFTEL standards. |
| PABX/PSTN master |
Performs the same functions as the Secondary adapter, whilst also featuring a bell capacitor to ring the bell on the telephone, plus an 'out of service' resistor. This unit is for use both on a PABX telephone system and on a direct incoming line (note: In the UK. Openreach no longer recommend use of surge arrestors as they can interfere with broadband circuits). |

Performs all the above functions, whilst also features surge protection to disperse any electrical spikes. This unit may be used on a direct or incoming line. |
