HHB DVD-R DISCS
Designed for V2.0 DVD recording, these discs use a specially licensed dye formulation, to deliver unparalleled data integrity and compatibility with the widest possible range of 1X-8X recorders and players. They are available singly and in bulk packs, suitable for inkjet printing.
A specially developed adhesive is used to ensure a durable, bubble-free bond between the two polycarbonate layers of the disc, improving the archival security of the data and providing a higher level of protection from rough handling than conventional DVD-R media. Critically, the diameter and edge profile of the disc hub has been optimised for smooth handling by automated duplication and printing systems, to ensure smooth workflow. The printable surface dries quickly, removing the need for a stacking ring to separate printed discs.
DVD-R4.7GB IP - Inkjet Printable - General
HHB's 'general' DVD-R disc. A particularly wide power margin and axial deviation of less than half the format-specified amount ensure full compatibility with a wide range of DVD-Recordable drives up to 2x speed, including those used by Apple, Compaq, Packard-Bell and Sony (Vaio). The groove shape is optimised for ultra-low jitter and the land pre-pit shape is designed to yield exceptionally low PI error rates, typically less than 100 against the format specification of 280. HHB DVD discs achieve a stable archival period in excess of 30 years.
