ARMSTRONG NXT CEILING TILE LOUDSPEAKERS
Suited to audio/visual, education, health and retail applications, Armstrong i Ceilings use NXT flat panel speaker technology to provide a unique loudspeaker system which matches exactly Armstrong's range of suspended ceilings. Combining their existing aesthetic and passive acoustic qualities with the benefits provided by NXT, these allow for 'invisible' loudspeaker solutions which ensure greatly increased sound dispersion, reduced microphone feedback and increased voice clarity.
The panels are simply placed in the ceiling grid as if they were regular tiles. Their weight is sufficient to avoid movement due to air pressure from closing doors and air conditioning. They may be painted as if they were normal ceiling tiles. A dedicated software tool is available on request, the Armstrong ceiling panel spacing tool, to calculate optimum placement of panels for a given space. Please call Technical Support.
CS 1000 i Ceilings Sound Panels
For voice and background music applications; the CS 1000 simply replaces a conventional suspended ceiling tile, reducing loudspeaker installation time by up to 75%. The panels are compatible with 100V line systems and low impedance systems. Connections are by means of Pheonix style connectors, and a switch by passes the 100V line transformer for 8ohm impedance.
Offered to fit two ceiling grid styles, "Microlook" and "Tegular", and to match "Ultima" and "Optima" ceiling tiles. Metal tile versions and versions fitted with back boxes to achieve Class 0 fire rating are also available to special order. Please contact Technical Support for assistance.

A 'Pro' version of the i Ceilings sound panel, combining NXT and conventional loudspeaker technology for superior music and AV sound reproduction. This is based on a heavier but more bass efficient panel, to give extra bass extension, and has a separate high frequency element to give wider frequency response. The panels are compatible with 100V line systems and low impedance systems. Connections are by means of Pheonix style connectors, and a switch by passes the 100V line transformer for 8ohm impedance.
