TOA P-1812 POWER AMPLIFIER
Primarily intended to operate in conjunction with TOA’s 1800-series mixer amplifiers, providing extra power, this amplifier operates on AC and DC supply and offers 100V line and low impedance outputs. It will interface to many systems as well as those using TOA equipment, and offers a convenient power amplifier package for many applications.
The front panel has volume, LED level display and power switch with LED. The rear has IEC power inlet; a terminal block, using M4 screws, with loudspeaker outputs and 24V DC power source input. Speaker outputs are balanced, 4 ohm and 100V line which must not be used simultaneously. Dual RCA (phono) connectors are provided for both line inputs and outputs. A further terminal block provides connections for emergency and power remote control inputs. The ‘emergency’ contact turns on the amplifier using a user-provided closing contact (this can be changed internally to turn the unit off). The power remote control also uses a closing contact, and when connected to an 1800 series mixer amplifier, will allow the P-1812 to be turned on using the power switch of the mixer-amplifier.
