The Blackmagic Mini Converters automatically detect the input video format and instantly change between virtually all SD, HD and Ultra HD video standards, depending on model. The range offers features such as redundant SDI inputs, re-clocked loop outputs and full analogue and AES/EBU audio inputs and outputs to convert between formats as well as embed or de-embed audio all on the one converter. They are compact, and easy-to-use; settings can be changed quickly using built-in mini switches, and with a diagram showing pin-settings printed on the back, references to manuals are reduced. Mini Converters use standard broadcast video and audio connections, reducing the need for adapter cables. All models, unless otherwise stated, can be updated with a Windows or Mac computer by downloading software upgrades and connecting using the USB 2.0 port. The range includes standard, Heavy Duty and Battery powered Converters.
Connectors are BNC types for SDI; 3-pole, 6.35mm jack sockets are used for audio connections. Power source: 12-31V DC, less than 10W.

With four balanced analogue audio inputs or eight digital audio inputs, this converter allows the user to embed an audio input into either SD or HD SDI up to 1080p60 standards. The audio input is via balanced analogue or AES/EBU on 6.35mm jack connection. SDI video input and SDI video output are via BNC connectors.

CONVMAAS2 - Analogue to SDI
Converts analogue component, S-video, NTSC/PAL composite video to SDI video. Audio can be embedded from balanced analogue or AES/EBU inputs. Useful to convert analogue devices such as Betacam SP, VHS, set top boxes, gaming consoles and HDV cameras to SD/HD-SDI video.

CONVMH/DUTYAAS - Analogue to SDI, Heavy Duty
Converts from analogue video in HD/SD component, NTSC, PAL or S-Video to SDI video, with the choice to embed SDI audio from balanced AES/EBU or analogue audio inputs. Useful to convert analogue devices such as Betacam SP, VHS, set top boxes and HDV cameras to SDI video.

Converts from SD and HD-SDI to analogue component, S-video or NTSC/PAL composite. Supports all SD and HD input formats up to 1080p60 and includes a down-converter for when it is required to convert from HD to standard definition, analogue formats such as s-video and composite. Audio can be de-embedded to balanced analogue or AES/EBU. Useful for converting to older analogue equipment when 6G-SDI 4K support is not required.

CONVMASA4K – SDI to Analogue 4K
Similar in functionality to the CONVMBASA however this converter has the additional ability to handle video standards up to 4K.

Converts HDMI to SDI 6G in all SD and HD formats up to 4K. Audio can be embedded from HDMI, balanced analogue or AES/EBU inputs. Useful for adding an SD or HD-SDI output to computers and cameras that have HDMI connections when Ultra HD is not required.

Includes both up, down and cross-conversion in SD or HD video formats. Features SDI on BNC, and HDMI type A inputs, along with HDMI output that supports EDID of the monitor. The cross-converter can be used to convert signals so the user can edit once and master in SD, HD, 720p, 1080p and 1080i video.

This 16-channel input, 16-channel output converter is designed to convert an SDI input signal and outputs to optical fiber and vice-versa. Due to the multi-rate 12G-SDI connections, the converter is compatible with SD, HD, and Ultra HD formats, and video standards up to 2160p60.
Note: SFP module is not included.
