LYNX 3000 BROADCAST SDI VIDEO CONVERSION
The Lynx 3000 system provides a range of analogue and digital, audio and video interface modules, primarily for broadcast and professional applications, with alternative power supply, mounting and remote control options.
The modules here carry out conversion to a full broadcast standard of 10-bit resolution.
Lynx C DA 3010 SDI D/A Video Converter
This PAL/NTSC module accepts one 10-bit serial digital input signal (SDI) and can provide three output configuration alternatives: One: analogue component (RGB or YUV) plus one composite (CVBS) and separated luminance chrominance (S-Video); Two: analogue component (RGB or YUV) plus three composite (CVBS); Three: three composite (CVBS) and three black-burst reference outputs. Two re-clocked SDI loop-through signals are provided. It is microprocessor controlled, with flash ram storage of settings.
Inputs: One SDI (SMPTE 259M-C, 270Mbit/s), 75ohms, BNC. Input return loss: >15db (270MHz). Jitter: <0.2ui.
Outputs: Six selectable analogue video, 75ohms, BNC. Return loss: >35dB(5.75MHz). Test signal: Colour bars. Quantization: 10 bits. Sampling: 54MHz (4x over-sampling). Filters: Selectable chrominance and luminance filters. S/N Ratio: > 60dB (unweighted to 5.75MHz).
