DPA MICROPHONES - Necklace - d:screet series
Designed for use with wireless systems in theatre, television and conferencing and for non-technicians, the d:screet necklace microphone series is a fast and easy solution for comfortable and repeatable positioning.
The microphones are fitted with cable terminated in a 'MicroDot' connector. A range of adapters for different wireless transmitters and direct cable connection is available.

These necklace microphones use the DPA 4061 omnidirectional capsule in a necklace form (4561) and are available in lengths of 47cm or 53cm, each length in black, brown or white. A frequency range of 20Hz - 20kHz with a 10dB boost at 12kHz ensures an accurate reproduction of the voice. The microphones have the ability to handle sound pressure levels up to 144dB SPL before clipping.
The total weight of the 4561 necklace is 17g, which includes the fixed 1.2m cable and MicroDot connection. A range of fixing clips (not included) are also available.
Adapters
These adapters allow DPA miniature microphones to be connected to various radio microphone transmitters or a standard 48V phantom powered XLR connector. Note that the adapters contain circuitry to pass the correct supply voltage to the microphone, so may not be suitable for use with other miniature microphones.
