1576 Data/Link ID and Cable-Check
This compact unit is a multi-purpose continuity tester and network identifier, suitable for UTP, FTP and flat-profile cables with RJ45 terminations. It tests both data and phone connection schemes including patch cords and installed cables to identify good connections, open circuits, short circuits and cross-connections. It also identifies data and link transmission speeds with real-time detection (100MB and 10MB), plus PC (NIC) and Hub data transmissions and PC (NIC) and Hub NLP or FLP link pulse. Scan speed is selectable fast or slow.
Included accessories: Two RJ45 patchcords, 9V battery and durable, nylon carrying-case with belt loop.
1573 LAN Cable-Check & Telephone Test Set
This identifies connector and cable pin-outs, with true cable mapping for both patchcords and installed cables. It also performs full-range continuity testing, line condition, signal tracing and wire identification with tone generation and a tone-probe cable tracer.
Features include testing for open, crossed and shorted connections, connector and cable pin-outs with a clear LED display for each pin and shield, and both shielded RJ45 socket and croc clip connections. It can be set to scan in fast or slow modes through all the wires, or produce a tone signal for tracing.
In telephone testing mode, it checks the polarity of telephone power line, views line status (dial tone, ringing or busy), and provides talk power for isolated telephone circuits for testing. In tracing mode, it is selectable for both balanced and unbalanced circuits, with a choice of four generator patterns, to aid cable tracing. The tracer unit has an inductive, high sensitivity probe, and both adjustable volume trace sounder and 3.5mm headphone socket for silent operation.

1543 LAN ProNavigator Tester
This tests data and telephone cables for proper pairing for EIA/TIA-568A & B, Token Ring, 10-Base-T and common Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 configurations. It also tests continuity of 50 and 75 ohm coaxial cables with BNC terminations. It can test both patchcords and installed cable runs.
It features one-button, simple testing (Pass/Fail, or fault find) to detect good connections, opens, crossed wires & split pairs. Test status is indicated at both ends of the cable (on main unit and on remote). In audio tone mode, tone is applied sequentially to each pair, and reception indicated on the remote unit. Tone can also be sensed with inductive probe type detectors, for cable tracing and identification.
Included accessories: Two 9V batteries, two belt clips.
