RPP EASYCLIP MODULAR CONNECTION SYSTEM - Face plates
The RPP 'Easyclip' modular connection system is an extensive, unified range of faceplates and snap-in modules. Modules are 50mm x 50mm or 25mm x 50mm according to their function, and are available in white or black. A wide range of plate styles and finishes is offered, and modules can be combined to provide connections exactly as required for each location.
'Full' modules are 50mm x 50mm, 'half' modules are 25mm x 50mm. Blank plates are available to fill unused spaces. Modules from the Ikon audio-visual connector range are also suitable for use in this system.
Plastic plates in traditional 1-gang and 2-gang sizes are available in three styles - 'radiused', a gently profiled shape that is in keeping with many manufacturers' styles of connection plates; 'deep', a high-profiled shape that is useful where back box depth is limited, and 'square cornered', a more traditional design. Most plates are available in both white and black, black plates (with black modules) work well in many more modern design environments or 'dark' environments such as theatres and other performance spaces. A special '4-gang' plate is available either with two 2- module apertures or with two 13A sockets and a 2-module aperture.
Larger plastic mounting plates are available in 2-row 4-module (2 per row) and 2-row 6-module (3 per row) designs. These are supplied complete with their own metal back boxes.
Raised metal mounting plates are a profiled, pressed, sheet-steel design, matching many manufacturers' ranges of connection plates. These are available in traditional 1-gang and 2-gang sizes, in brushed or polished stainless steel or 'antique bronze' plated finish. The aperture in the plate is edged with a white or black plastic trim, which should be chosen to match the colour of the modules being used.
Flat metal mounting plates are available in not only the traditional 1-gang and 2-gang sizes, but also an extended '4-gang' size with two 2-module apertures or with two 13A sockets and a 2-module aperture. The 4-gang type is supplied complete with its own back boxes. Flat metal plates are also available in 2-row and 3-row wallplate designs, in a variety of finishes. The aperture in the plate is edged with a white or black plastic trim, which should be chosen to match the colour of the modules being used.
Single-gang and 2-gang plates are available in the 'metalclad' surface-mount style, supplied complete with surface back box. Moulded enclosures, to IP56, enable outdoor mounting applications. These are offered with a cable outlet, suitable for use with the lid closed with right-angle cable exit, or without, suitable for switches or applications where the lid can remain open when connection is in use. The aperture in the plate is edged with a white plastic trim, white modules should be used with this design.
