A range of 1U 19 inch rackmount cases supplied fully populated with Neutrik opticalCON Advanced Duo connectors, with each connector housing four 6A, 50V AC, rated solder contacts and one LC Duplex feedthrough socket.
A single row of either 8, 12 or 16 opticalCON Duo connectors are mounted equally spaced on a rigid 1U aluminium extrusion.
A designation-strip holder with snap-on cover is fitted above each row and permits paper strips to be inserted before or after installation; 7.5mm of printable height is available. Templates for printing designation strip labels, available as a DWG file for AutoCAD and compatible applications, can be downloaded from the appropriate product page on the Canford website.
During installation, cables enter the rear of the 230mm deep rackmount case, via four M20 cable glands which can accommodate 6-12mm diameter cable. A fibre splice tray and heatshrink splice protectors are included inside the case for splicing the incoming fibre to the appropriate LC fibre tail if required.

Alternatively the incoming fibre can be terminated directly onto the appropriate LC connector using the Senko XP termination system.

Once terminated the fibre can then be inserted directly into the appropriate opticalCON connector.
Please note that coloured sealing gaskets are not suitable for use on this range.
