A range of superior quality headphones, models supplied (unless stated) with 3 pole 3.5mm jack and adapter to 6.35mm A gauge 3-pole jack plug. All types are very lightweight, and ideal for studio and broadcast usage. Frequency response figures ref. DIN45500. Impedance values are per capsule. All models (except HD 25 II) are supplied with oxygen-free copper cables as standard, steel cables available for certain models as accessories (supplied as standard on HD 25 II). Intended for improved listening in consumer applications, these headphones are not as robust as professional models but offer excellent value for office listening, light use or as a reserve. HD 480 II

The “standard” broadcast studio headphone. Open back. Small foam earpad 1700 ohms, fitted with 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug. Also available in BBC special version fitted with 316 type B-gauge plug, wired mono (54-174, red plug cover) or split-feed (54-175, blue plug cover), also with single sided entry cable with 6.35mm A-gauge plug, or 316 type B-gauge plug wired split feed. HD 202

Entry-level closed headphones with soft leatherette earpads, moulded headband and wind-up belt-clip to keep the cable tidy at the right length. Closed headphones offer improved bass response and ambient noise attenuation, good for critical listening and cueing. Frequency response: 18-18000Hz. 32 ohms.

HD 212

Studio/DJ closed headphones with extended frequency response, silver finish, soft leatherette earpads, moulded headband and wind-up belt-clip to keep the cable tidy at the right length. HD 25 II

Designed specifically for ENG and film recordists. Closed ear design with extremely high external noise attenuation. High wearing comfort due to a splittable headband. One sided cable, steel cored for reliability. Impedance 70 ohms, plus 20 ohms per cable, making 90 ohms at plug. Supplied fitted with 3.5mm right-angled 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug (HD 25-1 II). Also available; 600 ohms version, supplied fitted with 3.5mm 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug (HD 25-13 II). Frequency response 30-16000 Hz, sensitivity 105dB/mW.

HD 25 SP II

Similar to the HD 25 II, but with slightly downrated capsules, dual-sided cable and a simple headband, 85 ohms. Supplied fitted with 3.5mm 3-pole jack plus adapter to 6.35mm A-gauge 3-pole jack plug.

HD 280 pro

Closed back circumaural headphones for professional monitoring applications. The high attenuation of external noise (32dB) makes these particularly suitable for use in high noise environments. Single-sided coiled cable with 3.5mm 3-pole jack, plus screw-on adapter to 6.35mm jack. SPL 120dB. Weight 220g. 64 ohms. Also available as type HD 280-13 with 300 ohm earpieces.

HD 435

Over-ear, open headphone with foam earpads and stylish simple headband for general use. Frequency response: 18-19500Hz. 32 ohms.

HD 465

Rugged over-ear, low distortion (<0.2%), open headphone with foam earpads and stylish headband. Frequency response: 18-21500Hz. 32 ohms.

HMD 280 pro

Based on the HD 280 pro, this headset has been designed especially for communications in high noise environments. Its dynamic, super-cardioid broadcast quality 200 ohm mic has been optimised for close talking applications, and has extremely low handling noise. The mic can be worn on the left or right side, and the whole headset design is extremely compact for in-vision use. Also available as type HMD 280-13 with 300 ohm earpieces.

HMD 281 pro

As HMD 280 pro, but single sided. The mic can be worn on the left or right side. Also available as type HMD 281-13 with 300 ohm earpieces.

HMD 46-3-6

Lightweight open style headset with 300 ohm earpieces (per side) and 200 ohm dynamic microphone on adjustable boom arm. Single-sided cable supplied unterminated.

HME 25-1

Broadcast quality headsets based on the HD 25 II 600 ohm headphone. It features the broadcast quality MKE 2 300 ohm electret microphone, extremely resistant to pops, wind noise and inexact positioning. Pivoting ear capsules allow single-ear listening. Cable supplied unterminated.
