NEUTRIK BNC CONNECTORS - Male cable types - Push-pull - HDTV
A range of high quality BNC connectors, giving excellent mechanical, electrical and assembly performance. Precision machined components give accurate impedance and excellent return-loss, even at high frequencies above 1GHz, suitable for HDTV, SDI (serial digital) and analogue video.
An extremely ergonomic 75 ohm cable connector with push-pull locking operation, for high density or rapid assembly installations such as patchbays or location equipment. The connector locks with a straight push on the shell and releases with a straight pull. Assembly is straightforward, as the centre pin may be soldered, or crimped (with any of the Neutrik BNC crimp jaws, except type Z - see NEUTRIK CRIMP TOOLS - Co-axial connectors). The cable is then held in place and the screen terminated with a cable retention clamp based on the Neutrik chuck principle (not crimped), popular on audio connectors.
Connector screen contacts are optimised for certain cable diameters. Connectors in sizes for popular cables are held in stock; versions for other cables are available to special order, please contact Technical Support. Colour-coded cable boots are available to identify cables and connectors.
