The DT 234 PRO is a lightweight professional headset suitable for broadcast, communications and multimedia applications. The noise-cancelling electret microphone is fitted to a 150mm boom and has a frequency response from 50 to 20000 Hz. The microphone output is unbalanced and requires a supply voltage in the range of 1.5 to 9VDC. The earphones are of the closed, supraural type with an impedance of 32 Ohms and a frequency response of 20 to 18000 Hz. The headset is terminated with two 3.5 mm mini jacks on 1M Y cord. Headset combining double-sided closed earphones with a gooseneck boom and a broadcast-quality (40 - 20000 Hz) condenser cardioid microphone. The microphone element is suspended in a highly-flexible neoprene shock-mount to minimise mechanical coupling. The microphone response is optimised for use at 30cm from the mouth, which corresponds to the recommendations set by the IRT (Institute for Radio Technology) in Munich for optimum speech transmission. This headset ideally suited for broadcast commentary and sportscast duties.
