There are many multi-tools on the market today, but this range has been designed specifically for the audio, video and datacoms engineer. Two models offer the legendary ‘Swiss Pro-AV Army’ knife in a way that the Swiss Army probably never dreamed about!
All models feature a geared 2:1 mechanism for enhanced jaw grip and reduced effort, together with a one-hand ‘flip’ opening. They are supplied in leather pouches.

Features include needle-nose and gripping pliers, wire hook and spudger, UTP cable stripper, wire strippers, drywall punch, drywall saw, 6.35mm socket drive with hex bit adapter, two sizes of slotted screwdrivers, Phillips size 1 crosshead, 3-in-1 file, stainless steel knife, rule, and bottle cap opener.
Technical note: A ‘spudger’ appears to be a tool used for poking or adjusting small wires or components, manipulating wires in a crowded wire-wrap block, or setting DIP switches. Apparently also known as a ‘booger hook’, it is also used for disassembling laptop computers by those who have yet to master the dexterity required when deploying an earth-spike fitting tool for such delicate tasks.
