RACK STRIP

Double angle, plated finish

Double angle 1.5mm thickness (16 gauge) steel angle. Standard punching (3 holes per 'U') in narrow flange for rack mounting, mounting slot punched in wide flange, standard punching in 'sideways' rear flange for mounting horizontal rails, slides, cable tray etc. Supplied in 1820mm lengths (41U). Zinc plated finish, clear passivated. Cage nuts type 16-025 are suitable for use with this strip.

Double angle, black painted finish

Double angle 1.5mm thickness (16 gauge) steel angle. Standard punching (3 holes per 'U') in narrow flange for rack mounting, mounting holes punched in wide flange, 2 hole punching per 'U' in 'sideways' rear flange for mounting horizontal rails, slides, cable tray etc. Supplied in 2 metre lengths (45U). Black painted finish. Cage nuts type 16-025 are suitable for use with this strip.

Single angle, plated finish

'L' section 2.0mm thickness (14 gauge), heavy duty steel angle 50mm × 18mm. Standard punching (3 holes per 'U') in narrow flange for rack mounting, mounting slots punched in wide flange. Supplied in 1820mm lengths (41U) and a selection of pre-cut shorter lengths. Zinc plated finish, clear passivated. Ideal for DIY racks or for flight cases, console inset mounting etc. Cage nuts type 16-026 are suitable for use with this strip.

Single angle, black painted finish

'L' section 1.5mm thickness (16 gauge) steel angle 32.5mm x 19mm. Standard punching (3 holes per 'U') in narrow flange for rack mounting, mounting holes punched in wide flange. Supplied in 2 metre lengths (45U). Black painted finish. Cage nuts type 16-025 are suitable for use with this strip.

Construction note: Spacing between outer (mounting) verticals should be 486mm. This then gives correct alignment of holes and DIN standard aperture width of 450mm.
