CANFORD AUDIO FLIGHT CASES
These cases are extremely strong in relation to their weight, and offer complete protection against almost any hazard. They are built from either 6mm or 9mm thick plywood, (the thickness being determined by the size and weight of the article to be protected) onto which is bonded a layer of blue, textured ABS plastic. This results in an attractive and extremely hard wearing finish. The boards are cut to the sizes required and then slotted and riveted into a custom-made aluminium extrusion which ensures a rigid, yet light construction. A “hybrid” extruded aluminium lid seal both helps prevent the ingress of dust and dirt and locates the lid accurately in place. The case corners are protected and reinforced by zinc plated steel knuckled corner pieces. All standard types feature spring loaded recessed steel handles and cam “butterfly” catches.
Suitable cage nuts are type 16-026.
19" racks
Available 4U, 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 15U, 17U and 21U high. All are 460mm deep, excluding front and rear covers, both removable. Standard punched 19" rack strip is fitted front and rear. Certain models are available with four castors on the base of the rack. Also 12U shallow single sided rack, usable depth approx. 200mm.
19" stagebox racks
Available 6U, 8U, 10U and 12U high. Sides and ends formed from solid aluminuim extrusions, with top and bottom panels of 6mm birch ply faced with PVC slotted and rivetted in place. Lid is 28mm deep inside, and is removable. Base is 63mm deep, and is fitted with standard punched 19" rack strip. A leather carrying handle, lift-off hinges, catches and steel corner caps are fitted.
Road trunk
Highly versatile, multipurpose cases, 1220(L) × 610(W) × 610(D)mm, fitted with four 100mm swivel castors. Hinged lid with standard butterfly catches, and two recessed flip handles at each end.
To special order, this trunk is available with a 1200 × 600 × 150mm lift-out tray, or alternatively, fully lined with either 12mm or 25mm foam.
