Wiring specifications for many public buildings now call for LFH cables to be used in certain areas, notably in corridors etc. Under combustion circumstances, LFH cables have a significantly reduced smoke emission, and the gaseous products contain no toxic halogens.

DKT-M-LFH is technically identical to standard DKT-M, except that the PVC jacket is replaced by LFH materials.
