SDV-HD-LFH - HDTV AND SERIAL DIGITAL VIDEO CABLE Low Fire Hazard
Ultra low-loss coaxial 75 ohm cable specifically for HDTV and serial digital video signals.
Wiring specifications for many public buildings now call for LFH cables to be used in certain areas, notably in corridors etc. Under combustion circumstances LFH cables have a significantly reduced smoke emission and the gaseous products contain no toxic halogens. SDV-HD-LFH is technically identical to standard SDV-HD, except that jacket materials are replaced by LFH (low fire hazard) materials. This makes no difference to the electrical properties, but the cable is a little stiffer.
Suitable crimp BNC’s are available – see index. Due to the large diameter and rigidity of group Z cables, strain relief bushes are not required.
