Description
CANFORD FLUSH MOUNT BOUNDARY LAYER MIC
This specialised electret-based microphone is designed for fixed installations where unobtrusive pick-up of sound, from a wide range of angles, is required. Originally developed for interview recording in security and personnel applications, the Flush Mount Microphone can also find uses in paging systems where a projecting gooseneck microphone is not appropriate.
The microphone mounts on a standard single-gang, UK (BS1363) mounting box, such as part 49-578. The black-anodised plate has four small holes for sound transmission. The rear-mounted screw terminals make for easy electrical connections on site. The balanced audio output also receives phantom power from a 48 volt supply to avoid any need for batteries.
