WOHLER AMP1A 1U MONITOR SPEAKERS
A range of self-powered 1U rack-mounting monitor speakers intended for space-critical environments where quality monitoring is required. The range includes options for source selection, visual metering and a variety of input formats.
AMP1A
Basic model with two balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA (phono) inputs and XLR loop-through outputs, volume and balance controls, headphone socket and miniature loudspeakers.
AMP1A-106
Stereo model as AMP1A, with two 106-segment high-resolution LED meters showing simultaneous VU and PPM, with LED phase indication, but without unbalanced inputs and outputs.
AMP1A-2S
Dual stereo input version with four balanced XLR inputs and loop-through XLR output of selected input, front-panel source selection, volume and balance controls, headphone socket and miniature loudspeakers.
AMP1A-LP2S

AMP1A-10S
Ten stereo input version with twenty balanced, “Phoenix” connector inputs and XLR balanced loop-through output of selected input, front-panel source selection, volume and balance controls, headphone socket and miniature loudspeakers. Useful for source and distribution monitoring.
AMP1A-LP10S

AMP1A-VTR2
Dual four-input model with eight “Phoenix” connector inputs arranged as two groups of four, 26-segment LED meters, showing simultaneous VU and PPM levels for each input in the selected group, front-panel source selection for each output from the selected group, volume and balance controls, XLR balanced loop-through output of selected input, headphone socket and miniature loudspeakers. Applications include monitoring multiple-channel audio on two video recorders.
Phoenix Connectors for Wohler Units
Wohler equipment uses either “Phoenix” or “Mini-Phoenix” connectors for some models (see individual product descriptions). These are two-part terminal-strip connectors. The free part has screw terminals for the incoming cable and plugs into the fixed part built into the equipment. In each case the mating free parts are supplied with the units, but are also available separately for pre-wiring, testing, or maintenance. Each audio circuit uses a 3-pin connector, so one connector per circuit should be ordered.
