Description
OEP AUDIO TRANSFORMERS
A range of economically priced PCB mounting transformers, manufactured by OEP in England. A262 types and Z3003E are supplied without screening cans, these are available as an optional extra. Z218 series have fitted mu-metal screening cans, while Z1604 and E187A are unscreened.
Full data and application notes for each type are available from the OEP website at www.oep.co.uk or from Canford Technical Support.
Z21805C
Suitable for microphone input stages optimised for low source impedances (500-1000 ohms), typical of low Rbb bipolar transistors and operational amplifiers such as the LT1208. It can also be used for line level inputs when used in current mode active input circuits. Turns ratio 1:2 tapped at 0.5. Dimensions: 19.5(l) x 16.0(w) x 14.95 (h. above PCB) mm.
Z21806C
Suitable for line level input stages using the current mode or ‘zero field’ technique. This removes most of the artefacts normally associated with audio transformers whilst retaining the desirable galvanic isolation RFI blocking. Turns ratio 1:1. Dimensions: 19.5(l) x 16.0(w) x 14.95 (h. above PCB) mm.
Z21807C
Suitable for line level input stages (10k – 20k ohm bridging). Turns ratio 1:0.5+0.5. Dimensions: 19.5(l) x 16.0(w) x 14.95 (h. above PCB) mm.
Z21808C
Suitable for microphone input stages optimised for medium source impedances (c. 5k ohms), typical of medium Rbb bipolar transistors and operational amplifiers such as the NE5534. It can also be used for line level inputs when used in current mode active input circuits. Turns ratio 1:6 tapped at 1:1.8. Dimensions: 19.5(l) x 16.0(w) x 14.95 (h. above PCB) mm.
