RYCOTE MICROPHONE WINDJAMMERS - LAVALIER FURRY
As might be imagined, this is a furry cover designed to be used on lavalier or clip mounted microphones, worn on the outside of clothing, to provide simple, effective protection against wind noise.
The fur covering is made so that the opening can be stretched to accommodate the microphone and fit around the cable snugly. There is an internal removable soft foam insert which holds many popular sized lavalier microphones in place and provides the air space required for the Windjammer to be effective.
In some instances the user may prefer to use the windscreen that came with a lavalier microphone. It is possible for the foam supplied to be removed and the foam or metal windscreen supplied with the microphone to be inserted into the Windjammer instead. When the foam is removed, microphones can be accommodated up to a maximum of 8mm diameter.
