Confirmation Orders
Written confirmation of telephone or web orders must be clearly marked "Confirmation", otherwise we can accept no responsibility for duplication of the order. In the event of such duplication, goods will be accepted back for credit providing that the product is unmarked and packaging unopened, a 15% handling charge will be made.

Order Cancellations
Orders for stock items can usually be cancelled without charge if the goods have not been despatched. If despatch has been made, carriage and handling charges will be incurred. Cancellation of orders for non-stock items (which will be identified at the point of order in the price line) will normally incur charges. Non-stock items cannot usually be returned for credit, unless the original manufacturer will accept their return.

Sales Policy
Canford Audio supplies quality products direct to professional users and trade clients. Canford Audio does not provide a retail service to private individuals.

Despatch
Subject to product availability, all orders placed before approximately 4.30 pm (15.30 CET for international orders) are despatched same day. This is confirmed by the website when placing the order.

Carriage (GB mainland)
For mainland Great Britain, a choice of services is available. The charge is according to the service chosen, regardless of the size or weight of the consignment. Standard service carriage is free for all orders where the value of the goods ordered is £50.00 or more (excluding VAT). UPS and TNT are our preferred carriers.

Carriage (Non-mainland GB)
For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, a choice of services is available. The charges for normal services are fixed, regardless of the size or weight of the consignment. Prices for express services (typically 1-2 days) will be quoted according to your requirements. Standard service carriage is free for all orders where the value of the goods ordered is £50.00 or more (excluding VAT).

For deliveries to the above countries a choice of services are available. The charges for standard European services are fixed, regardless of the size or weight of the consignment.
We will endeavour to despatch all orders received before 15.30 GMT/BST on the same day under normal circumstances.

All deliveries are on a CPT (Carriage Paid To) basis according to Incoterms 2000. If insurance is required, please advise accordingly and we will be very happy to revise costs to include insurance.

International Sales (outside EU)
Prices shown in catalogues are ex-works Washington. Carriage and insurance will be quoted on request. We reserve the right to implement a documentation charge where appropriate. EUR1, certificates of origin and legalised documents are chargeable.

Returns
If you need to return any items to Canford for any reason, please first contact the Customer Services
department for further instructions. A returns number will be issued, which must be shown clearly on the outer packaging. Take great care to ensure that the products are packed adequately for their return journey and are insured, you will be responsible for any damage in transit. Address labels must not be put directly on product packaging, an outer wrapping or larger box must always be used. Credit will not be given if the items have been used. Items supplied correctly in accordance with your order will be subject to carriage and handling charges.

Payment
Credit accounts are available to established businesses and local authorities subject to minimal formalities effective with the first order, and usually arranged the same day. Occasionally payment is requested against a pro-forma invoice.
Shipments made in instalments will be invoiced accordingly, and must be paid when due. All invoices must be paid by the 14th of the month following month of invoice. We reserve the right to withhold supplies to clients with overdue accounts.

Credit Cards and Payment Cards
Canford accepts Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, and American Express, which allows same day despatch for clients without credit accounts.

Prices
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the rate ruling at date of despatch. We reserve the right to alter prices if necessary, due to external factors, though in these circumstances, the new price will be notified at the receipt or order. Goods will be invoiced at the price ruling at date of despatch. If ordering using rapid order facilities, no liability can be accepted for use of an outdated printed brochure.

Illustrations
Photographs in all catalogues and websites are intended as a guide only, and whilst usually being of the exact product offered, we reserve the right to supply items of similar nature but of detail difference.

As part of our continuing training programme to improve customer service, any telephone conversation with Canford personnel may be recorded.

Package Recycling
Canford has a policy of re-use where possible, of all packaging materials, in order to minimise the use of new material. This means that orders may be packed for despatch using previously used packaging materials.
