These Canford Dante adapters provide an alternative to the existing Audinate and Amphenol in-line adapters and avoiding captive cables. They are simple stereo audio adapters to convert between either analogue or digital, to or from Dante.
Three models, with two housing options, provide different audio connectivity options. The range consists of three standalone/desktop units and three units designed to mount in the Canford Universal Modular Connector Panel (UMCP) . Each unit is powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), no external power is required.
Housed in a robust Canford extruded box, the adapters offer superior performance in analogue audio conversion and rugged connectivity through Neutrik Ethercon and XLR connectors. Above the Ethercon connector are two LED's. Link status is indicated by the left LED, once power has been supplied to the unit the link status LED turns Red. The link status LED turns amber when a link is established with a link speed of 100 Mbps. Network activity is shown by the right Green LED, solid colour when connected, blinking when there is network activity.
This is a 2 channel analogue audio to Dante converter. Inputs are on balanced, Neutrik XLR 3-pin female connectors.
This is a Dante to 2 channel analogue audio converter. Outputs are on balanced, Neutrik XLR 3-pin male connectors.
This bi-directional unit converts Dante to and from AES/ EBU digital signals. Transformer balanced input and output signals are handled by Neutrik XLR 3-pin male and female connectors.
