This resin-coated sleeving consists of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and nylon polyamide filaments for 'superior strength', braided in such a way as to allow the diameter to expand by up to 150% either by compressing the sleeving or by the insertion of cable and/or components. The open-weave construction also makes this sleeving highly flexible and resistant to trapping moisture, heat and humidity. The resin coating offers improved abrasion, cut and fray resistance, and resistance to chemicals such as gasoline, engine chemicals and cleaning solvents. This type is designed specifically to be cut with scissors and to maintain a remarkably fray-resistant end. It is ideal for on-site use where a hot knife cutter is unavailable.
Supplied cut to length as required and charged according to the total length of size ordered, but note that the maximum single piece length available is limited to the stock coil length. Length is measured at minimum diameter, note that expanding the diameter results in a reduction in length. Colour: Black.
