Description

FURMAN RACKMOUNT POWER CONDITIONERS

Now a group in it's second incarnation, the Series II units from Furman offer the same reliable features as the old, but use improved technology common to every product. Series Mode Protection Plus (or SMP+) means circuits can handle multiple 6000 volt, 3000 amp pulses, far in excess of common spikes, to ensure component integrity. The older RFI filtering method has been replaced with a proprietary linear filtering system (LiFT) and the addition of Furman's Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) function ensures that creeping voltage rises that reach 15 percent over the norm, are immediately shutdown. Add to this a change to heat-free LED racklights (on the models that have them) and the inclusion of a rearmount BNC to allow attachment of a 12volt AC gooseneck light, and you have the new Series II.

PL-8-E II Power and Light Module

A 1U rackmount unit, providing power distribution, circuit protection and rack-panel illumination. The front panel has two slide-out, swivelling LED rack lights, with separate switch and dimmer, and switch and breaker for ten rear-panel IEC outlets. Overall rating: 10 Amps.

PL-PLUS-E II Power and Light Module

The 1U rackmounting PL-PLUS-E II combines power distribution, circuit protection and LED lighting for the rack front with a front panel LED bargraph to monitor line-voltage, reading from 180-256V AC. Overall rating: 10 Amps.

PM-PRO-E II Power Conditioner/Monitor

The 1U rackmounting PM-PRO-E II has no front-panel rack lights, but has the same outlets, protection and indication as the PL-PRO-E II and has an additional digital rms ammeter.

PS-8RE II Power Sequencer

1U rackmounting unit with three unswitched outlets (one on the front and two on the rear), and three delayed outlet groups. Power down is the reverse of the power up sequence. Front panel LED’s indicate switching status and wiring integrity, showing up to five faults. Allows remote turn-on and turn-off by closing contacts (latching or momentary). Overall capacity: 10 Amps.
