Description

BRAIDED SLEEVING - SPLIT, SPRING-WRAP

The longitudinally split construction of this semi-rigid braided sleeving permits the tube to be opened up and fitted over a cable loom. It springs back closed, with a nominal 25% overlap, and bends to a tight radius without splitting open. Although the term “semi-rigid” is used to distinguish this from the plain expandable sleeving, it is better thought of as “more springy”, and will not impair the flexibility of harnesses.

The 25% overlap allows the sleeve to fit over bundles a little larger than the nominal diameter. This product should be cut with a hot knife. Supplied cut to length as required and charged according to the total length of size ordered, but note that the maximum single piece length available is limited to the stock coil length.
