Based in Norway, DNH have been designing and manufacturing loudspeakers for industrial and commercial application since 1946. Below is a selection of junction boxes and beacons designed for use in environments where IP ratings of up to 67 are required for weatherproofing cable connection or visual cue.
DNH BS-21 is an IP66 rated beacon flashlight designed for be mounted on the ceiling or a wall whereby a visual cue can be seen. The light has a luminous intensity between 300 and 400 candelas with lens colours of red, amber, green, blue, and clear, with a flash rate of 1Hz. The lamp type is xenon and the dome is manufactured from borosilicate glass. There are M20 two cable entries, and the unit is delivered with two M20 blacking plugs. Internal termination is via screw terminals.
Rated energy: 21 Joule. Maximum voltage: 48V, DC; 230V, AC 50-60Hz. Dimensions (WxHxD): 98 x 183 x 177mm. Weight: 2.4kg.
BS-21 EExeN has the same properties as BS-21 however it is an explosion protected version. The terminal block is push-in type, as opposed to screw-in.
This beacon has the same features and explosion protection properties of BS-21 EExeN, however it is manufactured from AISI 316 stainless steel.
JBP-120
A junction box manufactured from halogen free ASA with an IP rating of 67. There are six possible entries positioned around three sides of the unit. The unit is supplied with three M20 cable glands and four M20 blind-plugs. Termination is internal and by way of 600V Wago 264 terminal and earth plate with 2.5mm diameter. The junction box can be surface mounted using four 6mm diameter mounting screw holes – one positioned in each corner.

This junction box has the features of JBP-120 however it is manufactured from antistatic PA for explosion protection. IP rating is 67. Finish is black.
