CANFORD IN-EAR MONITOR CABLE Translucent

Canford in-ear monitor cables are offered as extra-durable, replacement cables for dual in-ear monitoring earphones. They are designed specifically for applications where they may be subjected to excessive pulling and also extended periods of skin contact.

Extra-flexible reinforced-tinsel conductors are used, with a special sheath material that resists the harmful effects of skin contact that can otherwise cause the cable sheath to harden, break and discolour. They have an industry-standard (1.75mm pitch) 2-pin, gold-plated connector for the earphone, with an integral, stainless-steel, stiffener which allows the cable to be formed and dressed over the ear to keep it in the correct position. A slider is also fitted to keep the cables in position when fitted behind the head. Fitted with 3.5mm, gold plated, right-angled, stereo jack plugs. Cables are dot coded to indicate left, right and polarity (phase). The cables are available with translucent or black sheaths, length 1.5 metres.

Application note:

The 1.75mm pitch 2-pin is used on the majority of IEM earphones, but not all. Users should check the connector suitability before ordering.
