LED bar graph meters, offering a high resolution display in a compact and versatile package, panel or rack-mounted. Each meter has two channels and a phase correlation bar, and has both analogue and AES digital inputs. Comprehensive options are available and set-up may be by serial control or manual switching.
The meters have back-lit plastic faces, which are printed with the meter scale. The meter response characteristics and line-up level are factory set within the unit. Displays are offered as standard with UK PPM scales. In addition EBU, DIN, Nordic, and digital EBU PPM scales are available, as well as VU, either for retrofit or fitted at the factory, to special order. Please contact Technical Support for assistance.
BBG-1 - Single channel, rack-mounting or panel mounting
The BBG-1 is supplied fitted to a 1U rack-mounting panel, and may also be mounted behind panels in equipment such as control desks. It has a separate inline power supply so that AC power is not required in the equipment. It can be configured to display the signals applied to either the electronically balanced analogue inputs or the AES digital balanced input.
The display has two horizontal rows of 106 tri-colour LED blocks showing two channels, as a bar or dot, with the left channel at the top. A vertical bar graph to the right indicates phase correlation. On the left of the main bars, there are two rows of four-character alphanumeric displays, which normally indicate the meter mode, but can be configured to display the audio level numerically, with a resolution of 0.1 dB, when configured to peak-hold mode. During set-up they display the menu options. There are access holes for set-up switches between the two rows. On the rear there is a pair of XLR sockets for the analogue inputs, and a third XLR for the AES digital connection. A 9-pin D-sub connector provides a serial port for set-up and 12 DC power is supplied through a 2.5mm co-axial connector.

BBG-1-Dual - Two channel, rack-mounting
This is a two-channel version with similar features to the BBG-1. It is essentially two BBG-1 units, powered by two inline power supplies, mounted in a single panel. Dimensions: 1U rack mounting, 94mm deep. Weight: 1.2kg.
