MICW RECORDING MICROPHONES - Iseries - Mobile phone, tablet, laptop

These are miniature microphones designed for use with the Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android or any phones, tablets and laptops with a 4-pole 3.5mm headphone and microphone socket into which they plug directly. They offer a high-quality alternative to the internal microphones in these devices, for use when recording. One model may also be used as a measuring microphone. They may also be used with computer sound-cards which have powered microphone inputs, or professional microphone inputs with an optional adapter. The microphones are offered with and without a kit of accessories.

They are tested for long-term stability against high humidity and temperature and are solidly designed, using a stainless steel housing weighing only 8 grams. Electret condenser designs, they are powered from the host device, or may be used with professional mixers using the optional PI49 adapter cable (74-6888), which provides suitable power from a microphone input with 48V phantom powering. All have an output impedance with less than 2.2k ohms, and may be operated in the temperature range -20 to +50 degrees C.
