The K6 system is a family of pre-polarised microphone capsules offering a range of pick-up patterns from omnidirectional through to a long shotgun type, which are used with a choice of two powering modules. Applications vary from speech to film and broadcast location work.
All members of the series are finished in a matt black, anodised, scratch-resistant finish.
K6 - Powering Module - Battery or phantom powered
The K6 powering module is used with different condenser microphone heads to provide a wide variety of polar patterns. It may be powered by its internal 'AA' size 1.5 V battery or by 12-48V phantom power. It offers a high output, low noise, transformer-less balanced output on a 3-pin XLR connector. A bass roll-off filter may be switched on to protect against rumble, handling, pop and wind noise. The on/off switch has a battery test position. It is supplied with a MZQ 200 microphone clamp, AA battery and protective carrying case. Order microphone capsule(s) separately.

ME62 Capsule - Condenser, omnidirectional
Suitable for use with K6 and K6P powering modules, the ME 62 has minimal inherent self-noise, wide frequency response, high maximum sound pressure level and excellent rejection of rumble, wind and handling noise. It is particularly suitable for good reproduction of 'room' ambience and 'spaced omni' stereo recording. Suitable windshields are MZW 64 or MZW 64PRO. Order powering module separately.

ME64 Capsule - Condenser, cardioid
With excellent directivity across the whole frequency range, very good feedback rejection, effective rejection of incidental rear noise, high speech clarity, high maximum sound pressure level and wide frequency range the ME 64 has a very wide range of applications. Suitable windshields are MZW 64 or MZW 64PRO. Order powering module separately.

ME65 - Condenser, super-cardioid
With excellent directivity across the whole frequency range, frequency-independent directivity ensuring excellent feedback rejection, extremely high maximum sound pressure level, high sensitivity and a wide frequency range the ME 65 is especially suited to vocal and speech applications. The MZW 65PRO is a suitable windshield. Order powering module separately.

ME66 Capsule - Condenser, short gun,
Highly directional, with low inherent self-noise, high sensitivity and wide frequency response, the ME 66 is especially suitable for picking up quiet signals in noisy or acoustically live environments as it discriminates against sound not emanating from the main pick-up direction. Suitable windshields include the MZW 66 or MZW 66 PRO. Basket windshields or Rycote Softie windshields are also available. Order powering module separately.

ME67 Capsule - Condenser, long gun
A highly directional microphone, the ME 67 can be used where the microphone must be placed at a distance from the sound source. It has a 'lobar' pick-up pattern, very low inherent self-noise, high sensitivity factor and wide frequency response. A suitable windshield is the MZW 67PRO. Rycote Softies are also available. MKE2-60-Gold-C Capsule - Condenser, tie-clip
This is a high quality sub-miniature microphone for use with the K6 system. An 'Umbrella' diaphragm protects the capsule from moisture and sweat. It is supplied with two caps which slightly modify frequency response, for matching to individual voices. Colour black.
