Combining the traditional features of a mixer-amplifier with the functionality of a ‘zoner’ and the convenience of a multi-channel power-amplifier, these unusual products offer a one-box solution, to background/foreground music with announcements, in pubs, restaurants, retail premises and hotels. The comprehensive facilities, including connectivity to additional amplifiers and fire alarm systems, will appeal to installers in many other environments, whilst the user-friendly front panel will be understood easily by unskilled staff. Models with either two-zone with utility output or four-zone outputs are offered, either low-impedance or with 70/100V line options.

CXL-3120 Transformer Module - 70/100V Line
The three-channel transformer module mounts within the chassis of the 36-50. Each output may be configured for 100V or 70V operation. High-pass filters at 65Hz protect the transformers and speakers connected to each output.
CXL-4160 Transformer Module - 100V Line
This four-channel, 100V-line output transformer module may be fitted internally, for feeding distributed systems. This has a shrouded screw terminal strip.
Similar to the 46-50 but offering 120W (4 ohm) per zone. Facility port connections are on Cat5 RJ45, allowing daisy chained configuration of up to two LM2 remote plates to the facility port, for zone 1. Additional features include individual level and/or source control from either front or remote panel, remote power-down functionality, music on-hold and separate utility output and an optional CDI-46 digital paging/RS-232/Ethernet (TCP/IP) digital control interface card for extensive system integration use.
Included accessories: Manual, AC power cable, mating terminal-block connectors.
Optional accessories: RSL-6, RL-1 remote controls and LM-2 active modules, CDI-46 digital control interface module, see below. A suitable multi-zone paging microphone system is available, see Cloud Digital Paging Microphones.
46-120T - Four zone, 70/100V line transformer output
As the 46-120 but offering 4 zones on 120W (4 ohm) or 120W (70/100V) transformer output.
46-120Media - Four zone, USB/SD card MP3/WAV media player
As the 46-120 but with an internal USB/SD card, media player.
46-120TMedia - Four zone, USB/SD card MP3/WAV media player
As the 46-120T but with an internal USB/SD card, media player.
CDI-46 - Digital Control Interface
The CDI-46 is an optional module that provides a digital paging option (RJ45), ethernet (RJ45, TCP/IP) and RS-232 interface (terminal block) for the 46-120 mixer amplifier series. It allows connection of digital paging microphones directly via Cat5 to the CDI-46. The ethernet and RS-232 interfaces allow third party devices to control key functions, including music source selection per zone, music level selection per zone and muting within the 46-120 series, allowing integration with other control systems.
RSL-6, RL-1 - Remote controls
These are constructed to fit in UK standard single-gang back-box; they provide remote control functions for several Cloud products. Connections are terminal-blocks which may be wired to suitable Cloud mixers and mixer amplifiers using screened, two-core cable over a distance of up to 100m.
The RSL-6 provides six-way source selection and level control.
The RL-1 provides level control only.
LM-2 - Remote controls with remote input connectors, active
These fit in a UK standard dual-gang back-box, and are connected to suitable Cloud mixers and mixer-amplifiers over a distance of up to 100 metres. Although the modules are active, they take power from the host device. They have a microphone priority circuit which introduces a 30dB reduction of the music whenever the device detects a microphone signal.
The LM-2 has a line input, a balanced microphone input each with separate level controls. Two knobs control six-way source selection and level control respectively. A switch enables microphone priority. The module requires a screened Cat5 cable with overall screen, terminated with a screened RJ45 connector. Direct connection with the 46-120 series is therefore possible with these plates, however they do require suitable interfacing to be used with the 9-pin, D-sub Facility port on the 46-50 amplifier.
