Contacta radio frequency systems have been designed using assistive technology to provide accessibility to those who require listening aid. They are designed for use in tour guidance, conferences and meeting where the user requires a sound source to be transmitted to one or multiple portable receivers in a large area.
This rackmountable transmitter has the same functionality and transmission specifications as the RF-TXS, however it is designed to be rack mounted using the included 19” rack mounting brackets. The front facing panel of the transmitter has a latching on/off power switch along with headset inputs on 3.5mm jack socket and 4-pin XLR socket. Three buttons; ‘down’, ‘up’, and ‘mode’, along with an LCD display to navigate the setup options and monitoring are also on the front facing panel. The rear facing panel houses all other I/O connectivity including a 6.3mm jack socket for line level input, and a 3-pin XLR socket for audio input/output. A 5V/1000mA USB socket is used to connect the included USB power supply.

Designed for portable application in museum tours, historical sites, and places of worship, the RF-TX1 beltpack transmitter allows the user to transmit audio on the 2.4GHz bandwidth to RF-RX1 or RF-RXU receiver with a range of 150m outdoors or 80m within an enclosed area. Powered by a single 3.7V/1100mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery cell which can be charged in situ by using the included USB charger cable, or with the optional RF-RX-CS2 2-bay charger dock or RF-DC20 20-bay charger case. Additional BATT-TXRX batteries can be purchased as an option. The front facing side of the transmitter has three buttons for ‘down’ and ‘up’ navigation, and ‘mode’. An LCD display to navigate the setup options and monitoring is also on the front facing panel. Whilst the RF-TX1-EM earworn condenser microphone is included with the RF-TX1, other microphones including the RF-TX1-PM plug-in miniature microphone are compatible with the transmitter.
