Universal indoor and outdoor
This range of central loose-tube, multicore, multi mode fibre cables are 9mm in diameter. They are suitable for indoor installation, structured wiring and outdoor use, including direct burial. The primary-coated, 250micron fibres are housed in a single central loose tube. The tube is 'jelly' filled making the cable watertight in horizontal and vertical (riser) installations. The universal indoor/outdoor design gives the option to use a single cable run between equipment in different buildings, avoiding the need, and cost, of splicing indoor to outdoor cables. A metal-free, halogen-free (NH/FRNC/LS0H) construction meets horizontal and vertical installation fire safety requirements and offers standard protection from rodent damage. All cables have a predicted life of more than 30 years.
