From industry leading production studios, to the smallest of OB vans, we see our microMUSA patchbays everywhere. They have been an incredibly successful product for us and, to give a little back to our loyal customers, we have increased production volumes in order to offer these at an even more attractive price.
The origin story
First announced in 2018, our product development team worked hand-in-hand with the design experts at COAX Connectors to develop a range of 12G, 4K "microMUSA" video connectors. These have proven incredibly popular as the new micro system allows for very high density jackfields, including our 48-way panel. All microMUSA panels are non-normalised.
Intended for 12G 4k ultra high definition (2160 P60), 3G and 1.5G high definition, standard definition or analogue video applications, our microMUSA panels exceed the requirements of SMPTE ST 2082-1 which makes them suitable for both composite and component video.
Coloured patch cords and U-Links are also available which makes identification effortless. Our U-Links also feature a built-in detent, which indicates when it is fully mated into the panel as well as providing additional security from shaking loose in environments susceptible to vibration, such as OB trucks.
