Allen & Heath AHM processors are a family of audio matrix processors supported by a comprehensive ecosystem of scalable I/O, control and Dante solutions. Designed for use in corporate, retail, hospitality and education environments, AHM matrix processors allow integrators to quickly create systems that build from a single boardroom to a complete campus. The processors deploy Allen & Heath's FPGA technology and 96kHz sample rate, resulting in high sound quality and sub-millisecond latency. The audio engines have the power to deliver features including 8-band PEQ, gate, compressor and delay on all input channels, and 8-band PEQ, 30-band GEQ, compressor, ANC, source selector, limiter and delay on all zone outputs.
Once connected with the AHM System Manager software the user is able to perform 'rapid' configuration, with no certified programming training required. AHM matrix processors are said to 'strike a balance between the simplicity and set latency of fixed architecture, and the flexibility normally reserved for open architecture platforms', allowing them to handle sound management, paging, audio distribution, conferencing and speaker processing roles.
An SLink port is built-in on the AHM-64, whilst can be added via an SLink option card for AHM-32 and AHM-16. SLink allows the user to connect up to eight remote expanders from the Everything I/O range.
AHM16 8x8 I/O with 16x16 matrix
AHM-16 delivers a 16x16 matrix with processing for single room applications and smaller multi-room environments including bars, restaurants, shops and school halls. The matrix provides flexible routing with configurable processing on all sixteen channels. Processing tools include automatic mic mixer, ambient noise compensation, priority ducking, 8-band PEQ, dynamic and delay, speaker processing with crossover filter and delay, NTP support, and EQ ganging. Four user profiles can be created, each with editable name and password, whilst up to 500 presets, including a combination of inputs, zones, groups, input/zone cross points and zone/zone can be saved. AHM16 is compatible with the IP series of remote controllers including IP1, IP6, and IP8.
The front facing panel of AHM16 has a screen with four programmable soft keys for intuitive volume control, source select, preset recall, amongst other functionality. The rear facing panel houses all I/O connections including 8x analogue audio inputs and 8x analogue outputs by way of Phoenix style connectors, network connection via RJ45, and 2x2 local GPIO connections. AHM64 12x12 I/O with 64x64 matrix
AHM64 has been designed for larger, more demanding venues, such as large campus installation where up to 64 zones and 96 controllers can be employed. There are 32x user profile slots for program and recall, and like AHM32 has 8x soft keys positioned on the front facing panel. The processor, like AHM32, has twelve mic/line inputs and twelve relay-protected outputs on Phoenix style connectors, and also has the facility to house optional card including SQ DANTE 64x64, SQ SLink, SQ MADI, and SQ Waves SoundGrid card. AHM64 is also compatible with M-AHM-32 feedback suppression expansion card and M-AHM-64 acoustic echo cancellation expansion.

CC-7 and CC-10 are control touch panels for desktop or wall mount use. The controllers can operate as fixed control devices or complementing a BYOD solution. From simple music source selection to level control, preset recall or paging, the touch panels offer an alternative to Allen & Heath's range of IP remote controllers for applications where a touchscreen interface is preferred.
CC-7 features a 7-inch 1024x600 pixel touchscreen whilst CC-10 has a 10-inch 1280x800 pixel touchscreen. Both models can be powered via 12V DC power supply or via PoE, and both can be mounted via VESA 75x75mm thread mounts. Alternatively, CC-BRK desktop stand or CC-STN wall or glass-mount brackets are available.
M-AHM-32 Feedback suppression
This processing option allows the user to employ eight instances of feedback suppression. The FBS is assigned via inserts on the zone channels, each with up to 25-bands of live or fixed suppressions. Both mono and stereo zones are supported. Compatible with AHM32 and AHM64.
M-AHM-64 Acoustic echo cancellation
M-AHM-64 expansion module allows up to twelves channels of acoustic echo cancellation (AEC) for either AHM32 or AHM64. The acoustic echo cancellation intelligently detects the 'echo' in the remote participants feed, plus any residual effects caused by room acoustics, and utilises dedicated hardware processing to minimise the unwanted audio. The AEC is assigned via inserts on input channels, with one AEC reference available per setup. Multi-mic scenarios supported for up to twelve microphones within a single setup.
