These leads use patented C13 female angled-connectors with an internal locking mechanism which locks in an IEC power inlet, to provide a simple way of securing a power cable to any electrical equipment fitted with a standard IEC connector. They are invaluable for use with critical equipment, either free-standing or rack mounted and in areas subject to vibration such as outside broadcast vehicles, touring and ‘fly-away’ kit where standard connectors may become dislodged in transit. A choice of angled connectors allow use in areas with space constraints. Ready made cables are offered terminated to standard IEC C14 male plugs, bare ends, and UK 13A and SCHUKO (right-angle) plugs.
The internal locking mechanism grips the equipment earth pin preventing accidental removal of the plug. The latch is released by an external sliding handle, which can be gripped from three sides and is pulled to release the connector from its socket.
Moulded, angled, 'IEC-Lock' C13 female connectors are available in a choice of horizontal left or right, and, vertical up or down configurations, terminated with IEC C14 male, UK 13A plug (5A fused), SCHUKO or bare-ends. Bare-end types allow leads to be cut to length precisely when fitting a re-wireable plug such as a Neutrik Powercon. Re-wireable, straight or angled ‘IEC-Lock’ C13 female connectors are available, see IEC-LOCK-IEC-60320-CEE22-AC-MAINS-POWER-CONNECTORS.
All styles use 10Amp, 3 x 1.0sq.mm, H05VV-F black jacketed cable.
All leads are supplied individually hanked. Larger quantities may be available bulk packed, please contact sales.
Other lengths, coloured cable jackets and other types of moulded SCHUKO and NEMAS leads are available to special order, minimum order quantities may apply.
