ALLEN & HEATH MIXERS - AVANTIS Series

Avantis is a 64-channel, 42-configurable bus mixer platform featuring Allen & Heath's 96kHz XCVI FPGA engine and add-on processing from the flagship dLive mixing system. Avantis and Avantis Solo are both built on the same 64-input, 42-bus, 96kHz mix engine with the only difference being the amount of physical control and I/O available on the mixer. Each version features a fully configurable mix architecture including 12 RackExtra effects slots with dedicated stereo returns; sixteen DCAs, and two 128x128 I/O ports for audio networking.

The 15.6-inch, 1080p high definition touchscreen ( allows organisation of channels, channel parameter adjustment, and visual representation of status with the ability 'to see and instantly interact with more of what matters'. Each screen also features a FastGrab tab on the right-hand side, giving the engineer 'split-second access' to key freely-assignable parameters like aux sends, EQ, compressor and FX on the currently selected or specific channel. Each of the channel faders react on touch to immediately highlight the active channels for instant visual feedback, whilst the channel rotaries let the engineer work gains or pans, then at the touch of a button, dynamically fold the display to show EQ or compressor parameters across the whole bank. 61-band RTA, with 5minute, 15minute and 60minute history views, through to Shure and Sennheiser RF integration, Avantis has been designed to let engineers spend more time mixing and less time worrying about the technology.

Avantis can be controlled using the Avantis Director software, MixPad app, Custom Control app or from our range of remote controllers and GPIO interfaces, with up to 48 IP remote controllers over a standard TCP/IP network. Applications include control of IEM mixes on stage, extra fader banks at FOH, and local control in breakout rooms.

Other common features include DEEP processing compatibility, SLink EtherCon connection for remote audio, single stereo AES input via 3-pin XLR, 2x I/O ports for optional interface cards, 8x mute groups, 16x DCA groups with DCA spill, 12x stereo effects with dedicated returns, metering with multipoint peak detection, integrated fader illumination, built-in signal generation, RTA, and spectrogram; automatic mic mixer up to 64-channels, 500 scene memory, USB stereo recording and playback, MIDI controller, BNC word clock I/O, and dual headphone outputs with dedicated volume control.

Compatible with Everything I/O expanders, see ALLEN & HEATH EXPANDERS - Everything I/O Series
