PALADIN KRONE PUNCHDOWN TOOLS
All termination of wires on Krone connectors must be carried out using a special tool. The tool applies the correct pressure to both wire and contact and trims the excess wire off at the same time. This range offers a choice of models, all with two choices of compression force and replaceable blades.
3532 Standard Impact Tool
Impact punchdown tool handle used to terminate 0.08–0.34 sq.mm (28-24 AWG) wires into Krone-style blocks. Standard compression design, with high (155N) or low (110N) compression force. A push-lock clamp for blade/cutter assembly permits exchange.
3599 SurePunch-Pro Tool
This features a rubber-embedded cushioned handle with finger grips for comfort, plus adjustable high (167N) or low (122N) compression force to suit all cable types. A twist-lock clamp for blade/cutter assembly permits exchange. Replacement blade/cutter assemblies are also available. A retracting hook/blade tool can be used to remove wires from modules or feed wires through holes, and also separate bonded twisted pairs. The retracting ‘spudger’ tool can be used as a screwdriver or IDC contact insertion tool. Spare blade assemblies can be stored within the tool body. It also has a detachable light, with a long-life LED which focuses light onto the connector block.
