URSA STRAPS - Back and Chest Straps

Founded in 2015, URSA Straps have designed radio microphone consumables that are popular in live music, theatre, film, wedding, and conferencing. Manufactured from 1mm bonded fabric, URSA Straps provide stretch, comfort, and are machine washable - therefore provide longevity to their use from single to multiple person use.

BACK STRAPS

URSA Back Straps have been designed to securely accommodate wireless bodypack transmitters or in-ear monitoring receivers in the middle of the back between shoulder blades. This placement adds disguise to the wireless pack and comfort to the user. The wireless pack can be positioned with antenna facing upward or downwards based on user preference.

These 'ultra-slim, breathable' straps are manufactured from 1mm thick bonded fabric that allows the hook gripper to be fastened at any point. This ensures the user can always position and fasten to a degree which is comfortable to them. The integrated 'universal' pouch is compatible with wireless transmitter packs from brands including Shure, Sennheiser, and Sony (see table below). In most cases the pouch is able to house the wireless pack and any surplus cable.

The straps are available in black or beige and are machine washable at 40-60degree temperatures. Note, URSA Straps recommend the hook fastening system is employed during washing. Drying can be via hanging or tumble drying at low temperature.

CHEST STRAPS

URSA Chest Straps are designed for mounting lavalier microphones on the chest whereby sticky tape wouldn't adhere - for example sweaty or hairy skin. Three pouch compartments of differing sizes are positioned together on the strap. The central one of the three pouches is designed to fit an URSA Foamie or concealer; the thinnest of the three pouches fits a COS11 microphone, and the third pouch is compatible with a larger DPA microphone. An integrated polyurethane gripper has been bonded to either side of the microphone pouch to lower the chance of slipping. Multiple 'cable keepers' aid cable retention without the need for tape.

Available in beige, espresso (brown), black, and white.

Sizing

The Chest Strap measures 110cm in length and fits chest measurements up to 45-inches.

X STRAPS

URSA X Strap has been designed specifically as one solid unit and doesn't use hook and loop fastening. This results in a durable and secure fit. The strap features four mic pouches along the chest strap, designed for DPA 6060 and DPA 4060 diameter microphones, one pouch for an URSA Minimount, and a fourth larger pouch for a microphone with dimensions similar to that of the Sanken RM11. There is also a small pouch positioned on each shoulder strap, which fits an URSA MiniMount and has been designed for an alternative side-mounted mic position. The inside of the strap has various cable sleeves for keeping the wire in place, ensuring that your mics are always securely attached and your cables are never in the way.

Available in beige and black.
